The FIRST Chairman's Award Five Minute Presentation

Your submission includes a video and presentation. You have five minutes to give your presentation to the judges. Usually setup time is included in those five minutes.

Three people from your team can give your presentation. Practice the presentation before the regional so the presenters are comfortable with your presentation. Decide during practice if the presenters will completely memorize their presentation or if they will use small note cards with an outline of the script.

Visuals are highly encouraged.

You have the option of showing your video as part of your presentation, but it goes against your five minutes.

Your presentation should be a bit like your Executive Summary: It should cover the important things that you want the judges to know. It should also be like your essay: showcasing your teams personality while captivating your audience and leaving the judges with something to remember your team.

Consider creating a Judges Report that goes along with your presentation. This may be left with them and picked up from pit admin later if it's a one of a kind book. Teams have also created multiple copies of the Judges Report and gave each judges in the presentation their own copy.
